GOD’S GOT THE PLAN
AN ADVENT READING PLAN
Advent means "coming," and during the four weeks leading to Christmas, we prepare for GOD’S PLAN of sending His Son, Jesus into the world. It is intended to be a time of anticipation, slowing down, waiting, and being filled with awe and wonder. This year's Advent Devotional is in the form of a card booklet and will be available outside the sanctuary on November 30 and at the Advent Event during Discipleship time that day.
The devotional cards include: scripture reference, reflections, and prayer that can be used daily as a family or personally.
** NEW THIS YEAR - we will have these devotions available on our FACEBOOK PAGE with video clips of Bible readings given by members of our Trinity family posted each day during advent!
Here are some ideas for using this resource:
Pick a consistent time for all . . . meals, after school, or bedtime.
Have various friends or family members help lead various parts.
Sing or play a favorite Christmas song or hymn as part of your experience.
